** Description changed: Binary package hint: envyng-core After update to envyng (1.1.1ubuntu17) on 19th July 2008, mythtv is no longer displayed correctly. When the front end or back end is launched, the blue screen launches as normal, but each row in the display doesn't match up with the previous, as if the row length was wrong. I uninstalled the ati driver using envyng, and mythtv worked again. I reinstalled, and mythtv returned to the non-usable state. When I quit mythtv, the main desktop display has the same problem for a few seconds, and then it resolves itself. I can't do a screenshot in the normal way, because when I do the resulting image is perfect, rather than being messed up! However, I have attached a photograph of the effect. - Ubuntu 8.04.1 + Ubuntu 8.04.1 AMD_64 Mythtv 0.21.0+fixes16838-0ubuntu3.1 Mobilitiy Radeon HD 3450 using DVI output Acer AL2216W LCD monitor at 1680 x 1050 using DVI input
