I have attached the output of the command sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -o "Debug::pkgProblemResolver=1"
Could it be because I did this at an earlier stage: I was trying out schooltool and added the following to /etc/apt/sources.lst deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/schooltool-owners/ubuntu hardy main deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/schooltool-owners/ubuntu hardy main I then installed schooltool in this way: sudo apt-get install schooltool-2008 Which was when I saw zope packages installed. If I uninstall schooltool (which I no longer need) and it's dependencies, and remove the repository will it solve the problem? ** Attachment added: "output.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/16229917/output.txt -- Could not calculate the upgrade: Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/250751 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
