When booting from 6.06.1 LTS and the Edgy Release Candidate by removing the quiet from the boot the messages are the same: ACPI: Bus Type PCI registered ACPI: PCI BIOS Revision 3.00 Entity at 0Xeb048, last bus =32 PCI: Using MMCONFIG ACPI: Subsystem revision 20050902 ACPI: PCI Root Bridge [PCI_0] 0x0000 ACPI: Assume Root bridge [\_SB_.PCI]
After that it hangs w/ no response. By booting the 6.06.1 LTS cd and passing linux pci = nommconf I am able to boot in the Desktop CD. However this command does not work in booting the release candidate. This to me is a crtiical bug but don't know if the kernel developers would agree.
