Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openarena
After openarena was backported from Intrepid, it becomes uninstallable. Aptitude quite literally tells me that the backported version is BROKEN. When ubuntu-backports in disabled, openarena 0.7.0 seems to install fine. There seems to be a conflict that is beyond my technical knowledge but here is my log: __ubuntu-backports disabled__ $ apt-cache policy openarena openarena: Installed: (none) Candidate: 0.7.0-2 Version table: 0.7.0-2 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com hardy/universe Packages $ sudo aptitude install openarena Reading package lists...
