This bug still exists in Hardy Heron 8.04.1. It is very annoying especially if you set the screen saver timeout to a low number (e.g. 2 minutes).
It looks like the Ubuntu box thinks it is inactive and tries to start the screen saver when you are really playing a game! I am not sure if this is a Ubuntu bug or a SuperTux bug. It is very annoying.
