There is no output. It opens the correct page but in the wrong profile (it uses the currently running firefox instance instead of opening a new one with the specified profile)
for example firefox * runs firefox * firefox -P profile2 http://www.cnn.com * opens a new window with http://www.cnn.com in it but using the default profile * if I close all the firefox windows (and wait a couple seconds for it actually to shut down firefox) and then give the command firefox -P profile2 * opens firefox using profile2 * firefox -P default * opens a window using profile2 * Hope this explains what I'm seeing, Manfred On Tue, Jul 22, 2008 at 5:08 PM, -Zeus- <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Can you run this from a console and post any output? > > -- > REGRESSION: firefox 3.0 does not honor -P flag to start a session using a > specific profile > https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/250960 > You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber > of the bug. > -- REGRESSION: firefox 3.0 does not honor -P flag to start a session using a specific profile https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/250960 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
