Not sure if this is a help or not BUT... I have a Samsung ML-2010 Mono Laser which I print to through a Netcomm NP3680 USB 2.0 Multifunction Server and it works beautifully. The strange part is though that it won't work if I utilise the driver supplied on the CD by Samsung (ML- 2010spl2.ppd) but it works perfectly if I use the systems recommended driver (Samsung ML-2010, 1.1.0)
I set my printers (I use the Samsung Laser plus an Epson CX9300F MFC) up as jetdirect with the settings as follows: 10.1.1.2:9100 for my Samsung which is on Socket One of Server, and; 10.1.1.2:9101 for my Epson I have set them up similarly in openSUSE and PCLinuxOS and don't usually have many issues at all. I am currently using Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy) and used same setup when I was running 7.10 (Gutsy). Regards...
