Public bug reported:
When using the LiveCD installer, selecting "Manually edit partitions"
and continuing to the next step brings up a window that is longer (in
horizontal dimension) than the desktop. The window is not resizable.
In subsequent steps of the install process, the window associated with
the installer remains elongated until it is manually resized.
This is true both in Dapper and Edgy.
