Sorry, yes bug is on Firefox 3.0.0 /var/crash is empty. Even when firefox crashes.
Crash is reproducible. Steps: 1. Go to http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/computer_can_series.do?storeName=computer_store&category=notebooks&a1=Processor&v1=AMD&a2=From+price&v2=%24500-%24800&series_name=dv5z_series (by example) 2. Click "Customize & Buy", you will go to http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/cto.do 3. Scroll the page, click some radio buttons.. Scrolling will be slower, and slower. 4. CPU use raises 100% and it just crash. Firefox extensions: Download helper 3.2 Ubuntu Firefox Modifications 0.5 (both disabled to test) Plug-ins (a lot, automatically included w/firefox & ubuntu install) and Shockwave Flash 9.0 r124, also disabled. And still crashing.
