Public bug reported: When installing nis and autofs, in runlevel 2 nis is set to priority 18 and autofs is set to priority 19.
When deactivating nis and autofs using gnome's system -> administration -> services tool and then reactivate them, both are set to priority 50. That makes the auto mounting fail, because autofs needs a running nis in this configuration. Funny enough priority of nis and autofs are set to correct priority in every runlevel *except* runlevel 2. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Boot order of autofs and nis is resetted to wrong values. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/251773 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
