Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it, because your description didn't include enough information.
First of all, can you tell me whether this only happens with Rhythmbox, or is the audio quality bad with other players (for example, Totem). Also, can you open your volume control and make sure that no channels are set to 100%. If they are, then please try reducing them to about 80%. Does this problem only occur with certain audio formats? If so, which ones? If the audio quality is poor with every application and with every format, please include the information requested from the "Reporting Sound Bugs" section of https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingSoundProblems as separate attachments. ** Changed in: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- Audio is choppy/echoing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/252367 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
