@Conn Sorry if I didn't articulate myself well, but I wasn't looking for support. I was just trying to make sure I had the same combination of packages installed so I could help diagnose the problem.
I'm on i386, and I was following a separate howto that suggested I install nspluginwrapper to solve issues with pulse + flash.
