Hello, I have uploaded gnome-voice-control for Gutsy and Hardy that solve these issues to my PPA [1], until they are published as stable release updates (see bug 252424 for Gutsy [2] and bug 252418 for Hardy [3]). The versions are OK, so once SRU's are published to primary Ubuntu archives, the versions from my PPA will be replaced with the usual update.
