Hmm, let's forget about ths bug... I have just given "Beryl" a try (found a howto in the Ubuntu Wiki), and to my surprise it just worked ! So I am not interested in using debugging compiz anymore. That said, if Beryl is based on compiz,it's strange that one works perfectly and the other not that well...
