nis does still use "multiuser", and so still needs to fix this, as the extension is deprecated, and will not be around for ever. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks, James ** Changed in: nis (Ubuntu) Assignee: Mark Brown (broonie) => (unassigned) Status: Invalid => Triaged ** Summary changed: - Still uses multiuser argument to dh_installinit + Still uses multiuser argument to update-rc.d ** Description changed: Binary package hint: nis Hi, - nis still uses the multiuser argument to dh_installinit, but this is + nis still uses the multiuser argument to update-rc.d, but this is now deprecated. For how to change the package to no longer use this please see https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-devel- announce/2008-June/000430.html Please forward the new patch to Debian when you do this, as "multiuser" isn't applicable to Debian, but the new scheme is.
