This was a first for me as well. I've been running Hardy since Alpha 5 using ndiswrapper and with the recent updates to linux-restricted- modules-2.6.24-20-generic my Broadcom BCM4328 is showing in the restricted drivers manager as wl driver. My network is visible via network-manager, but I can not connect as well WPA2.
