I started working for me with the some kernel-update. Unfortunately i can't exactly state which one. The only think i had to do was use device /dev/ttyS0. This may be a TC1100 only help, i would suggest you try to cat the ttyS-devices to find the one your pen uses (Move the pen and if there is a stream of characters, you have found your device). That was the way i found mine. Now it works perfectly, thanks a lot!
