Thanks Alberto! So far, this seems to have done it for me. I have logged out and back on multiple times with no issues, and Ctrl-Alt- Bkspc'd multiple times with no issues. It also seems to have improved the session saving capabilities (before, I would sometimes get applications back on re-logging in that I had already closed).
Don't know if that validates or invalidates me as part of the bug, but I'm happy either way! Will report back if it hangs on logout again.
