Dear Michael, I am running 8.04 at this time and for changing the cursor types I use "Change Background" utility started from the desktop, which works out fine. The special program that I installed on my older 7.07 installation is no longer of any use, I really can not tell you what it was called. Sorry for this poor information and thank you for taking your time to look at a problem.
