I have continued getting Updates automatically through the notification
on top.
One day I received update notification and updated. But one item,
"Linux-image-2.6.24-19-generic" cannot be installed by the Synaptic. It
downloaded the file and starts installing.
But in the end says, "An Error Occurred: The Following Details Are Provided:
[E:
/var/cache/apt/archives/linux-image-2.6.24-19-generic_2.6.24-19.34_i386.deb:
unable to make backup link of `./boot/vmlinuz-2.6.24-19-generic' before
installing new version]".
Ever since that, updates upto 2.6.24-19.36 has been downloaded, but it
failed to install.
