i think this is not a bug and this report should be closed. if you tell
an application to render as many frames as possible (vsync off) you can
expect it to eat all available resources it can get hold of...

i am closing this bug, but feel free to reopen it if you can make clear
how actual behavior diverges from expected (= reasonalbe) behavior.
