so.... i found on ati site latest catalyst...they are write tath radeon hd 3470 is supported by it. well... i had download it, installed and had run aticonfig --initial and aticonfig --initial=check. It wrote all fine, fgrlx section found. Ok... let's restart X. Done. Try to run compiz - white screen for a few seconds and then message that it can't enable.
