Public bug reported:
First reported as a comment in bug #219775.
Thought to be an aspect of #124159 (slowness), but moving closer to router and
reducing speed to 5.5M did not solve it.
Wireless lan works erratically. Lots of transmission errors. Eventually it
dies and disappears from the list of wireless lans in network manager.
When I check my router it has my computer listed with a mac address of 00 00 00
1a 73 82 instead of 00 1a 73 82 68 cc.
Broadcom details:
03:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM94311MCG wlan
mini-PCI [14e4:4311] (rev 02)
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Unknown device [103c:1374]
Attached is log of what happens when I switch to wireless from wired.
