Public bug reported: I have installed the final release of ubuntu edgy on a Compaq Presario M2000Z and the system does not recognize my power button. The command "gnome-power-manager --no-daemon --verbose" lets me know that there is no recognition from g-p-m of the power button but there is one of the lid button. This used to work fine with dapper.
