I can confirm this bug using the same palm and the same palm software.
The work around is to format the sd card from Linux. The problem also
occurs, with the same solution if you use the SD card in a standard card
reader rather than using the palm and the "CardReader" palm software.
The problem must be related to #232011 and #253487 so I'll mark them as
duplicates of this.
