Public bug reported:
I tried to change the X resolution via 'gnome-display-properties' or
"xrandr" command, both failed.
OS: Intrepid Alpha 3
Platform: Intel Montevina
Reproduce steps:
1. run "gnome-display-properties" and the default resolution is "1024*768";
2. Choose another resolution.e.g. "800*600" and click "OK"
Here, X will reboot and the resolution was still unchanged as "1024*768".
I also run "xrandr -s 1" and resolution was still unchanged.
