could you describe how this automatic adding is working? there is some way to synchronize contact between pidgin and evolution, you can automatically add emails when replying to those. what option do you use exactly? ======================================================================== Hi Sebastien, When I add a contact, I click the Contact button on the left side of the UI. I go up to the menu and select new contact and fill in the dialog box. I do not have the problem now doing this. I do not use any IM service, but I believe it was selected as the default installation choice. Now I have disabled pidgin in the preferences.
