I haven't got access to the computer as it was "impossible" to get it work by editing modules the way I was instructed by "google". The general 3C9xxx kernel driver didn't work. But it was Xubuntu Hardy that I had installed there (I will try again when I regain a HDD to the computer). Previously the computer had Kubuntu Edgy, and the network adapter worked.
