Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.24-19-virtual
The standard kernel is compiled with the options
CONFIG_NF_CONNTRACK_EVENTS=y
CONFIG_NF_CT_NETLINK=m
But that options arent setted into the 'virtual' kernels:
# CONFIG_NF_CONNTRACK_EVENTS is not set
# CONFIG_NF_CT_NETLINK is not set
And that options are a requirement for the conntrack-tools (http
://conntrack-tools.netfilter.org/install.html).
So, with a Ubuntu installed on a VMWare machine i'm unable to use the
conntrack tool (neither the one in conntrack package nor the one in
conntrack-tools package).
