Hello all, I have the same problem on a laptop Dell Inspiron 6400, running on Hardy. The video chipset is Intel 945GM. The system freezes with VLC, mplayer, Totem, xine. It happens sporadically. The keyboard doesn't respond, neither mouse clicking, but the mouse pointer moves. I attached my /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old, for which the system froze. Thanks
