Well then, I suppose it could be considered a good thing if the crash only happened once. ;-) Anyway, seven months later and it doesn't look like this crash will be making a comeback. The version of Akregator included in the current development release "Intrepid Ibex" (to be released in October) is a complete rewrite, making this exact crash impossible to have occur again. So, I'm going to mark this fixed. Thanks for your time you invested into this bug report, and please continue to report bugs in the future. :-)
