Public bug reported: I've noticed this problem more and more recently.
Last.fm will start fine. After playing for anywhere from minutes to hours the sound stops. The song "looks" like it is playing as the counter goes down to 0:00, but no sound. And a new song does not load after the counter reaches 0:00. During this process, my computer heats up a lot. acpi -V shows about ten degrees hotter than under normal conditions. If I quit last.fm (or switch to the next song), the problem seems to right itself and the processor cools down. Attaching the log from first start up to when the problem occurs. ** Affects: lastfm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- lastfm stops playing music; Thermal 1 rises 10 degrees https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/258791 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
