I am now testing the latest Kubuntu development release: "Intrepid ibex", which comes with KDE 4.1.0 by the moment. Current Konqueror version is 4:4.1.0-0ubuntu2. At this point of development, Konqueror present multiple problems browsing Gmail webmail, including the issue I originally reported here. I think most of this issues should be fixed soon by upstream.
