I used memtest and the memory was fine when i fallow the directions on the page (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/DebuggingSystemCrash) Control+Alt+F1 ( gives a black screen no text input possible or text visible) I get back to my gnome interface whit Control+Alt+F7
