Can anyone else confirm if booting with i8042.nomux=1 resolves the issue
for them as well? I'm also curious if anyone would care to confirm this
is still an issue with the latest Alpha for the upcoming Intrepid Ibex
8.10. You should be able to test via a LiveCD -
