This problem with the graphic distortion is not "fixed" but nearly. Since the entry it has happened twice but only when I had Amule, Word, Evolution, Music Player and Transmission open. As soon as I closed Amule it went away. I can deal with the problem by simply keeping my system lean but I still can't reliably use graphically intense software without malfunctions. Sometimes frequent sometimes not.
