Public bug reported:

I'm using Xubuntu 8.04 with all regular updates. My system default is
Turkish. When I change the language from Turkish to English (USA), my
desktop appearance changed in a way of mirror image; Trash, File System
and Home icons locating on the the rightermost side of the screen. I
can't reproduce it again; I mean, when I change the languages again,
desktop will not come back to its original layout. At the beginning of
the start of x, after login window, for some seconds, I see the original
layout but then it comes to a stable appearance showing the broken
mirror image.

** Affects: xubuntu-default-settings (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
