Sorry for the delay.

Thanks for the tip about the ath5k driver. It does indeed work, altough I have 
to load it manually with modprobe.
I hope it will be loaded automatically when Intrepid is released.

I'm attaching the files you asked for.

My wifi card was supported previously and used the ath_pci driver which is 
located in:
/lib/modules/2.6.24-16-generic/madwifi/ath_pci.ko
So I'm quite sure it was supported by madwifi, unless non-madwifi drivers are 
put in that directory too.
