** Description changed:

- Ubuntu Hardy alpha4, alpha 3 also affected.
+ Description revised Aug 22.

- I'm a colemak typist, and caps lock in ubuntu hardy with colemak
- functions as a caps lock /and/ backspace. In colemak, it's a backspace.
- I went to just set caps lock behavior to 'off'.. the option wasn't
- there. It's really messing with me.
-
- We need an 'off' option for caps lock, and for the colemak keyboard
- layout, it needs to be true by default.
+ The colemak layout includes a mapping for key 66, which is the Wrong Way to
add the backspace caps lock key behavior.
+ This mapping should be removed from the colemak layout and a backspace caps
behavior should be added to gnome, KDE, and xfce.
+ While it would be nice if the colemak layout would default to this caps lock
behavior, it's not crucial, as it's easy enough to just change it.
+ It is possible that backspace would be the first caps lock behavior to
require repeat.
