i was merely pointing out that their should be better plug and play support for usb 3g modems such as the e220, since it will not work without editing the wvdial.conf file or some other tweaking,most newbies have a big problem getting this modem to work on ubuntu,since they are use to the automatic detection and installation of this modem in win xp,
