This also happens on Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 (32-bit) apt-file 2.1.0 $ sudo apt-file update Can't get http://trylegaldownloads.de/ubuntu/dists/hardy/Contents-i386.gz
I checked the location and while there are some files the one above is absent. This is different from the assigned debian bug (that is about a proxy issue) http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=476961 A related debian bug is http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=476961 apt-file 2.1.2 fixes the problem. So does this fix the problem on ubuntu boxes too? If so how about getting it released? -- Contents-arch.gz not found https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/220396 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
