I installed that fine without any problems. (I had to download 6 dependencies) Could you uninstall the dependencies. Run gdebi-kde from the terminal, and try to make it crash again? Having the backtrace is probably the only way anybody could begin to investigate the crash. If all else fails, apport may have left a crash report in /var/crash, which would contain the backtrace from the last crash.
