As I pointed out far earlier in this bug discussion... I didn't have any issues with Gutsy 7.10 running on x.org 7.2, before upgrading to Hardy 8.04 which is running x.org 7.3 version. I believe that users still running Gutsy and downloaded x.org updates to 7.3 faces the same problems as as Hardy 8.04 users do.
I believe the other distros such as Centos etc also have the same problem after upgraded to v7.3 of x.org. So the question I would like ask is: -What is with the x.org 7.3 version?
