I can confirm that this bug is still there. While booting, in the first few seconds (between 0 and 1, according to dmesg) the message of ACPI: EC: non-query interrupt received, switching to interrupt mode is shown. The system appears to hang shortly after and does not respond. When pressing and releasing the power button (like when you turn on a pc) the system continues to boot properly.
