When you enter the login/password for Xubuntu or for Facebook?
What startup screen?
Is this all one bug?

i'm using xbuntu 7.10 it lets my give my log in info then it loads but after
that i can't see my start up screen? when i shut it down or reboot it i then
can see it just for a second. i have know idea what i did or what to do?
