My laptop is not a Toshiba but I have the some problem when having Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy: Intel Centrino 1.7 Ghz 1 Gb RAM is hanging when shutting down via the normal graphical method. It's hanging at the very end of the process. I can't see what is hanging because of the spash screen. When shutdown -r now in terminal. it will shutdown completely. pls help. thanks!
