Ops... The issue was resolved in Feisty that used a kernel version that already incorporated Tejun patch. Suspend/resume also works in Hardy.
I have just installed linux-image-2.6.27-1-generic_2.6.27-1.1.deb that I grabbed from packages.ubuntu.com on a Hardy machine. I rebooted my laptop (a U205 S5067) into the new kernel. Suspend looks fine (every activity stops and the suspend led blinks as it should). However, whenever I try to resume I only get a blank screen with the cursor bliking on the top left corner. Is there any other package I should try? Or should I open a new bug right away? Obs: I could not find linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.27-generic, so the wifi driver is missing. I don't know if this can have any impact on the resume operation or not. -- Feisty Herd 4 - Suspend and Hibernate fail Toshiba U205-S5002 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/85629 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
