in previous versions of ubuntu, gnome-session was used. now, if you
login multiple times under the same username, gnome goes crazy, applets
won't load at all or will complain thoroughly. like i said before, using
xinitrc to start gnome-session seems to be a sufficient workaround, but
i've not found a good reason why i should have to do this. closing the
bug report won't make the problem go away.
