Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
In Intrepid, after today (August 30th) when we had an update to the
synaptics input driver, the mouse cursor starts off fixed at the middle
of the screen after log-in. No movement using the touchpad. Switching
the touchpad button on/off makes no difference -
