I've not encountered this in some time. I'm currently using a Hardy Heron that was incrementally upgraded from Edgy. I cannot confirm having seen this bug since I left Edgy.
I might at some point want to reload the latest Ubuntu from scratch. If I do that , I could load a fresh Edgy install if that would be helpful.
